So what’s with the Name?

The name ‘Stone & Shield Home Inspections’ not only sounds awesome, it also has meaning! One could think ‘stone’ as in, foundation.  They could also think ‘shield’ as in the home that shields the family from the elements, keeps them safe.  Cool, right?!  

For us at Stone & Shield, there’s also a more personal meaning behind the name.  Our faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.  Our name is taken from Psalm 18:2. 

Psalm 18:2

“The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”

We at Stone & Shield absolutely believe that God has blessed us with this opportunity to start a home inspection business and serve our friends and neighbors in our community.
